From 7 October 2025, the Bulgarian National Bank is releasing into circulation a silver commemorative coin on the theme ‘125 Years of Emergency Medical Care in Bulgaria’.
The obverse of the coin features the BNB logo in the centre on the left with the year ‘1879’ on a ribbon, and the nominal value ‘10’ on the right. Above it is the year of issue ‘2025’, and below is the inscription ‘ЛЕВА’ (levs). The words ‘БЪЛГАРСКА’ (Bulgarian) at the top and ‘НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (National Bank) at the bottom go around the edge.
The reverse of the coin features hands forming a cross between the years ‘1900’ and ‘2025’; the inscription ‘125 ГОДИНИ СПЕШНА МЕДИЦИНСКА ПОМОЩ В БЪЛГАРИЯ’ (125 Years of Emergency Medical Care in Bulgaria) goes in circumference
