From 7 July 2025, the Bulgarian National Bank is releasing into circulation a silver commemorative coin on the theme ‘175 Years since the Birth of Ivan Vazov’ of the ‘Bulgarian Revival’ series.
The obverse of the coin features: in the centre – the BNB logo with the year ‘1879’ on the strip; a stylised open book underneath. In circumference: the inscriptions ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (Bulgarian National Bank), the year of issue ‘2025’ and the nominal value ‘10 ЛЕВА’ (10 levs).
The reverse of the coin features: a portrait of Ivan Vazov; in circumference, an inscription ‘175 ГОДИНИ ОТ РОЖДЕНИЕТО НА ИВАН ВАЗОВ’ (175 years since the birth of Ivan Vazov), lyre-shaped laurel wreath with a book.
