100 years since the foundation of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee

From March 20, 2023, the Bulgarian National Bank is putting into circulation a silver commemorative coin on the theme “100 years since the foundation of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee”.

The following elements are depicted on the front of the coin: above – the BNB emblem with the year “1879” on the band, and below it the nominal value “10”, the digits of which are stylized as a stadium and an athletics track; the year of issue “2023” and the word “LEFT” are written on both sides. In the semicircle below, the inscription: “BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK”.

The reverse side of the coin depicts the modern emblem of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, surrounded by a wreath of a traditional Bulgarian ethnic motif. The ring road has the inscription “100 YEARS OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE BULGARIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE”.
